Artist Statement

I am a sculptor because it is my passion, my outlet, my means of restoring sanity in an insane world. I am hoping my little speck of existence will, through my art, inspire hope and positive changes in people, society, and eventually, the world. I am making use of my abilities and gifts to bring attention to the goodness that is still abundant in a world being filled with fear, lies and propaganda for the purpose of instilling division and hate. These times require a backlash of uplifting love to unify and erode the division.

I hope my art will be a catalyst for more inclusive communities and a means of documenting important people/history/events, in hopes others will learn and strive to be more. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if attitudes could change, even if but one person at a time, to make this world a better place for all? Success will be achieved if my art influences people to love and respect all people, living creatures and the environment.

A motto I live by —

Go forth with passion in one hand, determination in the other,
and let love be the inspiration for all you do.
